IMPRESSIONS OF AN EXPATRIATE

Thing which I like most about Dubai is its law and order. I think Dubai is the safest place in the world. Everyone, both native and expats, are equal before law and there is no discrimination at all.

First of all, let me introduce myself. I am a chemical engineer by profession and I have been living in Dubai for more than a year now. I must say it has been a great experience living and working in Dubai. During my college days, when I heard about Dubais life and opportunities here, I dreamed that one day I shall go to, and live in, Dubai. It was a like a fantasy to me. My dreams did come true and today I am living here in this fantasy world.

Dubai truly is a great place to live in. Living standard, lifestyle, and provision of amenities and facilities all are great. Today, Dubai is a multinational metropolis that has grown steadily to become a global city and a business and cultural hub of the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region. People from around the world like to settle here. No feeling of being an expat can be felt here.

Thing which I like most about Dubai is its law and order. I think Dubai is the safest place in the world. Everyone, both native and expats, are equal before law and there is no discrimination at all.

In the wake of phenomenal growth and fast-paced development, Dubai is indeed a model for world, and all credit of this wonderful feat goes to His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, and UAE’s Premier and Vice president. He helped transform the emirate of Dubai from a desert town into a major business hub and tourist destination. He has developed an active pursuit of quality, which ranges from business and sports to making Dubai a world-class city. I think our leaders should learn from Him, the way he lead Dubai, and how he converted his endless vision to reality.
